Hanika 1A PF
Aged solid spruce top. Soundboard is crest-vaulted and asymmetrically weighted and braced. Scale 650mm; 52mm nut width. Solid East Indian rosewood back and sides. Grendill binding. American cedar neck with 5 ply rosewood reinforcement. Ebony fingerboard. 20 fret. Back and sides finished in very thin, top quality high gloss. French polished soundboard. Rosewood with a 12 hole tie block; abalone protection. "Sloane tuners" with bushes to give precise operation. Open carved headstock. Multi-layer veneer on front and back Rosette Hand-made Rio Rosette. Hanika-Hiscox case included. Dimensions: Upper bout 286mm, Lower bout 370mm; Body length 490mm; Overall length 1015mm. $5046.
